ANN ARBOR, MI — The Ann Arbor clerk’s office is reminding city voters of temporary polling location changes for the primary election Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Separate from redistricting, some residents will vote in different locations Tuesday due to construction at some Ann Arbor school buildings that normally serve as polling places.

In addition to temporary changes, some voters are now drawn into new voting districts for the next decade due to recent redistricting.

Voters can confirm their voter registration and polling place information and see a sample ballot of the races and issues they’ll be deciding at www.michigan.gov/vote.

In Ann Arbor, voters will decide contested Democratic primary races for mayor and City Council, as well as a tax proposal to expand local public transit services. There also are contested races for Washtenaw County commissioner and new state House and Senate seats, as well as the new 6th Congressional District seat representing all of Washtenaw County.

Polls will be open for voting 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Voters can still register to vote at the clerk’s office until polls close.
